He began his career in his home country of Botswana, has worked across four continents, and holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
About the Speaker
Mark J. Kirby is the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Information Technology at a Fortune 100. He manages the Enterprise Technology Services department within the company’s Central IT organization. Mr. Kirby and his team provide IT services in support of the company’s corporate departments and also support the transformation of IT’s overall effectiveness through innovation, digital technologies, and enterprise self-service platforms.
Before joining the Fortune 100 company in 2009, Mr. Kirby was Vice President of IT Delivery at Capgemini U.S., focused on telecommunications. In this role, he was responsible for the development and deployment of enterprise applications. During his time at Capgemini, Mr. Kirby worked with multiple U.S. and international corporations, including AT&T, Verizon, Disney, Delmonte, Dannon, and others. Mr. Kirby began his IT career with Dimension Data Africa in his home country of Botswana and holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
