Rachel Pritzker is president and founder of the Pritzker Innovation Fund, which supports the development and advancement of paradigm-shifting ideas to address the world’s most wicked problems. She chairs the Breakthrough Institute Advisory Board and is a board member of the Center for Global Development and Third Way. Rachel also serves on the advisory committee of the Nuclear Innovation Alliance, and is a co-signor of An Ecomodernist Manifesto, which outlines a powerful alternative approach to climate mitigation and human development.
About the Speaker
Rachel Pritzker is President & Founder of the Pritzker Innovation Fund. She is Chair of the Advisory Board of the Breakthrough Institute, a pioneering research institute that is changing how people think about energy and the environment. Rachel is also a board member at Third Way, a multi-issue think tank that answers America’s challenges with modern ideas where she co-founded their Advanced Nuclear Campaign. Rachel is also a member of The Philanthropy Workshop West.
Rachel previously served as a founding board member of Media Matters for America and was a founding board member of the Democracy Alliance, a partnership of business and philanthropic leaders committed to a stronger democracy by supporting progressive organizations. Rachel attended Brown University, where she majored in Latin American studies. A clinical nutritionist by training, Rachel co-founded the nation’s first accredited master’s degree program in botanical medicine.
