Volt Witchuporn Jingjit

Violinist, Educator, Composer & Producer

Born on November 1, 1991, Volt Witchuporn Jingjit began to play the violin at age 5 and performed in public a few years later. Volt is a Thai violin virtuoso who graduated from Thailand’s prestigious Silpakorn University with a jazz violin degree. In 2018, Volt graduated from Berklee College of Music.

Volt has performed in Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, the Netherlands, France, and United States, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Jacob Collier, David Fuze Fiuzynski, Dennis Montgomery III, Paul Rishell & Annie Raines. He performed at Newport Folk Festival 2017 with Suzanne Vega and Darol Anger. He’s also taught a workshop, “Transitioning from Classical to Contemporary String instrumentalist”.

In 2017, he joined Berklee Global Jazz Institute. He learned from such legends as Danilo Perez, Marco Pignataro, Joe Lovano, Dave Liebman, Kenny Werner, Ben Street, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington, Adam Cruz, Alan Pasqua, Lefteris Kordis, and Anat Cohen.
