National Special Olympics Golfer
Tyler Lagasse is an accomplished member of the Special Olympics community. He began reading and writing at the age of 2, but wouldn’t talk. By the age of 4, he was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (a form of autism). He has found success through sports, which has led to bigger things: An Associate’s Degree from Middlesex Community College, currently attending UMass Lowell with plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in environmental health.
