Teacher and Academic Advisor Bio
Christopher Gross is a teacher and academic advisor who prepares international students to attend university or graduate school in the United States. He is currently co-founding an organization which aims to support aspiring academics while providing enriching educational opportunities to the public. Trained as an anthropologist, he began his teaching career in Chinese Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan. His research has covered a variety of topics, ranging from the 2005 Tulip Revolution in Kyrgyzstan and organized crime to Central Asian gender systems. He holds Master’s degrees from George Washington University, Indiana University, and Boston University.
