Through the innovative combination of speakers and adventures, TEDxBeaconStreet will provide the Greater Boston area with an unprecedented experience, highlighting the best of two spheres: both the intellectual and the interactive.

Our goal is to make TEDxBeaconStreet an event that is offered at no charge. Our vision is to bring together a diverse audience that spans generations, gather TEDx curators from around the world, attract speakers with revolutionary ideas, connect inspirational ideas to practical applications and organize year-round adventures that no other TEDx event can offer.

We want to bring the theme of Ideas In Action to life! Become part of a unique and exclusive group of people that truly believes in the mission of TEDxBeaconStreet. Join us on this journey to make our vision a reality. We have been incorporated under the name Ideas In Action Inc. as a non-profit under Massachusetts law. As part of a standard IRS process we are also working to get an official 501(c)(3) status at the federal level.

TEDxBeaconStreet focuses on enthralling speakers, but at the same time is a different kind of locally organized TED event, beginning with the concept of TEDxBeaconStreet Adventures.

What makes TEDxBeaconStreet Adventures unique?

The Adventures offer unparalleled, behind-the-scenes access to the people and places that make the Greater Boston area so dynamic. During our main conference, TEDx curators from all corners of the Earth will be taught how to produce their own TEDx Adventures.
